If you haven't checked out Green Meadows Preserve yet, you're really missing out! Located just a quick 20-minute drive from Atlanta in Marietta, Georgia, this spot is stunning year-round. It's perfect whether you're shooting in the warm or cooler months in Georgia. Spring brings lush greenery and vibrant blooms, making it an ideal location for engagement photos. In the winter, the tall golden grasses add a beautiful touch of color to the landscape too.
One of the best things about this spot is how versatile it is for engagement photos. Beyond the beautiful green meadows, there's a charming red barn and a vintage white house that add extra character and options to your photos.

I cannot sing the praises of Arabia Mountain enough! This is truly one of the most beautiful, picturesque locations in the North Georgia mountains to capture engagement photos. If you have read this far, you know I am a sucker for locations that can provide more than just one vibe. I like versatility and truly believe it helps add creativity and depth to any photoshoot. This location is incredibly accessible and has a mix of different areas that provide a different nature experience.
Arabia Mountain
This spot really stands out, especially for the moody vibe of the rock face at the summit. The breathtaking views of the North Georgia mountains and stunning sunset scenes make it a top pick for those dreamy golden hour photos. It's definitely high on my list of recommendations for capturing those warm, glowing moments!
The Trails to the Summit
What makes this spot special are the trails leading up to Arabia Mountain's summit. It's not your typical forest hike; instead, you'll find rolling green hills surrounded with tall grasses that give off a unique woodland feel. Plus, along the trail, you'll come across a rustic white-washed barn at Vaughter's Farm that really captures that authentic Southern Georgia charm.

One thing I really love about Old Rope Mill Park is the quaint, rustic bridge that's just right for capturing some candid engagement shots. Every time I shoot here, I enjoy wandering the trails through the woods to the old train tracks, snagging those classic train track photos along the way.
